What the public site collects and what it does not.

This notice covers actionboundary.dev and ordinary business inquiries. A signed engagement agreement and the Trust & Data Handling page govern customer trace review.

Plain-language default: ActionBoundary does not use a website inquiry form, advertising tracker, or analytics service. Contact begins by email. Do not send credentials, production data, PHI, PII, payment-card data, bank details, or secrets in a first inquiry.

Who operates this site

ActionBoundary is operated by JZ Software Consulting. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to jiahao@actionboundary.dev.

Information collected

Website visits

This is a static site hosted with GitHub Pages. ActionBoundary does not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or a first-party cookie banner. GitHub states that it logs and stores a visitor's IP address for security purposes when a GitHub Pages site is visited. That hosting activity is governed by GitHub's policies.

Email inquiries

If you email ActionBoundary, the message may contain your name, work email, company, product context, workflow description, and any other information you choose to include. Email necessarily uses the service providers operating the sender's and recipient's mail systems.

Customer engagement data

Redacted traces, evidence packages, contracts, and engagement records are not collected through this public website. Their handling is described in Trust & Data Handling and may be changed by a signed agreement.

How information is used

  • Respond to an inquiry and decide whether a proposed workflow fits the review scope.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and perform a requested diagnostic or engagement.
  • Protect the site, email systems, repository, and business from abuse or security threats.
  • Maintain records needed for legal, tax, accounting, contractual, or dispute purposes.

ActionBoundary does not sell personal information and does not use inquiry content to train models or create public examples without explicit permission.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by providers that operate essential hosting, email, secure file-transfer, or professional services. The public site is hosted by GitHub Pages; see GitHub Pages data collection and the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or with the sender's direction or consent. Customer trace subprocessors and model use follow the stricter written engagement boundary.

Retention and security

Business inquiry correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, business records, legal obligations, or dispute handling, then deleted or archived according to operational needs. Customer traces have a separate default: deletion within 30 days after final report delivery, or sooner on written request, unless a signed agreement requires something else.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no email, hosting, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask what inquiry information ActionBoundary holds about you, request correction or deletion, or object to further contact by emailing jiahao@actionboundary.dev. A request may be limited where retention is required by law, contract, security, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.
